Digital Technical Consultant

Besides this they offer the clients an extensive portfolio of business and IT services; such as developing new digital strategies, implementing digital technologies and executing digital processes. Digital is divided in three groups: Interactive,  Analytics and Mobility. You will be part of Interactive Delivery.

The position

As Digital Technical Consultant, you are responsible for the technical solution design and implementation of our Digital projects in E-Commerce, Experience Management and/or Custom Web Development areas. Your broad, deep knowledge and experience allow you to be flexibly deployed and crucial to make the project a success. Your ambition is to grow towards a Digital Solution Architect.

Tasks & responsibilities

• You prepare technical design decisions and considerations that are well founded based on your broad knowledge and experience
• You are multi-skilled and are able to develop difficult / core components and work together with the development team. 
• You guard and continuously improve the quality of the solution, developers and tooling
• You perform estimations and validate the estimations of the developers
• You work closely with the functional team and architects

Candidate profile

• At the minimum a completed Masters course with a technical background (in the area of software development, digital platforms and technologies);
• 3-5 years of experience in web application design, analysis, design patterns and object oriented design;
• Experience with various web technologies such as AngularJS, NodeJS, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS, REST, SOAP and Java concepts like J2EE, JSP, Spring, Junit, MVC and Eclipse;
• Experience with waterfall and Agile development methodologies;
• Experience with code repositories (e.g. Git and SVN) and continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, automated unit testing, Maven and Ant);
• A strong preference is experience with one or more packaged product such as Hybris Commerce, Oracle ATG, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Intershop, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Magento;
• Dutch and English speaking/writing;
