The position

We are looking for a Program Manager. 

Skill Level: ability to work directly with TCS and Client Senior Leadership teams. Proven track record to successfully manage budget close to €2-5 M Projects. Manage good relationship with Business, IT and other key stakeholders expectations. Track and delivery Business benefits on time.

Tasks & responsibilities

Purpose of the mission:  

Primary tasks and responsibilities:  Individual, with no direct supervisory responsibilities within TCS.  However, the person assigned will be required to manage larger teams of TCS, customer and subcontractor staff.

Main responsibilities:  Typically reporting to the Senior Project Manager will be Team Leads and Sub Project Managers aligned with specific output requirements (e.g. Milestones) to the project.  This can be on-site and off-shore.

Candidate profile

Experience:

• Working knowledge of a project management framework: Service Management;  Service Delivery; Agile, Scrum framework; or equivalent methods.
• Preferably achieved project management accreditation, e.g. PMI, Prince2, IPMA Level C/B and Scrum.org Scrum Master.
• 3 or more transformation projects responsible for delivering business benefits, backed by clear and significant experience (5-8 years) of project management.
• Worked with a client at the ‘C-1-Suite’ level.
• Held budgetary responsibility of at least €1-2m per annum.
• Good to have Experience in Banking, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, High Tech, Telco or Energy Industry sectors (2 or more sectors)
• Ability to take end-end ownership and identify and mitigate key challenges.
• Pro-active versus reactive management style.
• Strong customer management skills. 
• Identify and mitigate customer risks / ability to guide and direct the customer to the correct or desired outcomes / understanding of internal client dynamics.
• Strong people management skills with experience in coaching / mentoring.
• Ability to blend the business and technical skills of the project team (client / TCS / other vendors) to successfully deliver the intended/desired business results.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent change management skills.
