Our client is an international market leader with Asian roots within the electronics industry. You will be located at their EMEA headquarters in the Amsterdam area. 

The position

As an Accounting & Control Specialist you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all accounting activities in KDE and the German Branch. You will ensure daily and correct accounting and you will report to management and KDC. As an A&C Specialist you will have a key position to the auditor PWC and coordinate three accounting staff and accounting processes in the most efficient way. Analyzing results, fluctuations and developments in results and advising to management on this will also be a responsibility. You will stay up to date with latest accounting rules and ensure correct application of those concerning rules. He/she develops, creates and maintains financial reporting. The specialist prepares in-depth analyses about the results and reports and advises management about outcomes. He/she is responsible for the total quality of the department’s output (reports). The employee contributes to the monthly reporting and the control cycle. 

Candidate profile

You have strong knowledge of bookkeeping. Strong excel skills are essential and SAP R/3 skills are preferable. You are fluent in Dutch and English (written and verbal). A Bachelor education is recommended and a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting is needed. A Big-4 background is strongly preferred. Having experience with working in an Asian working environment is recommended.
