Our valued client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Finance & Operations Manager to join their team in the Netherlands. As Finance & Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, optimising processes and driving business growth. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in finance, operations and business management.

The position

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organisational goals.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare budgets and manage financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, analyse trends and provide insights to senior management.
• Risk Management: Assess financial risks and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Operational optimisation:
• Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Activity Distribution: Manage day-to-day activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in Belgium and Germany to ensure seamless operations across borders.
• Market insights: Use your experience in the Dutch market to promote informed decision-making.

Business development:

• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plan.
• Growth Initiatives: Identify growth opportunities and support business expansion.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments to align financial and operational goals.

Language skills: Fluent in English and Dutch, German or French is essential.

Candidate profile

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, preferably in a small to medium-sized real estate, development or construction company.
• Strong knowledge of the Dutch market.
• Proven track record in financial management and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.

Remote Work and Travel: This role is fully remote, allowing you to be flexible in your work location. Occasional travel may be required for meetings and collaboration with colleagues.
