The position
We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer for this rapidly expanding organization. He/ she will professionalise the finance organisation. The CFO will serve as a strategic and hands-on business partner to the CEO and management team. Within this dynamic sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth, both domestically and internationally, through acquisitions and expansions. Additionally, you will provide support during the eventual exit process in the coming years.

- The CFO leads the finance organization and establishes, executes and reports on the business plan and financial budget for the group;
- He/ she creates an environment where people develop their hard and soft skills needed to perform their current role and enable growth in successive roles;

Place in the organization
- The CFO reports to the CEO and is a member of the Leadership Team;
- The CFO is statutory director of the holding company and director for the Works Council NL;
- The CFO leads the finance team with appr. 3 direct reports and total team size of around 8-10.
Tasks & responsibilities
Finance & compliance
- Responsible for the finance team and business process owner for all finance processes;
- Creates one integrated financial department for all entities in the group with a high degree of automation;
- Design and drive annual business planning and reporting process;
- Analyse financial/ operational results and translate into clear and measurable actions to improve business performance;
- Establishing KPI dashboards that serve as steering tool for the departments and acting as sparring partner for department heads to achieve agreed KPI’s;
- Set up/redesign an air tight order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay process;
- Responsible for compliance and relationships with banks, tax department and external accountant;
Private equity / buy & build strategy
- Acts as sparring partner on strategic topics for the leadership team;
- Supports relationship with investors and shareholders;
- Co-designs M&A strategy and leads acquisition processes for circa 2 add-ons each year;
- Strives to achieve synergies between the various entities;
- Supports exit-process of the company from current to new owners.
People management

Candidate profile
- Fluent in Dutch and English;
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience, of which at least several years of CFO-responsibility in a (PE-owned) midmarket company;
- Solid financial acumen, experience in budgeting, reporting and KPI management;
- Experience with M&A processes sell-side, preferably with private equity shareholder and buy & build strategy;
- International experience, preferably in Belgium and Germany;
- Demonstrates business acumen, is data-driven and digitally savvy;
- Strong leadership skills, communicative skills and ability to be part of and build successful teams;
- Is result-oriented and sets ambitious targets for her/himself and her/his team.
