The position

To support the growth, Nedstar is looking for a full time CFO who will complement the existing management team. Current CFO is external and on interim-basis and will remain connected to the company to ensure smooth transition. 

Candidate profile

• Master, Msc or equivalent with emphasis in (business) management or economics. RC considered a plus
• 5-10 years minimum experience (covering B2B, commodity trading, import/ export, distribution)
• 3+ years of staff management. Demonstrated focus on coaching, talent development and continuous learning through hiring, development and timely performance feedback
• Insights profile: Ideal candidate is expected to be largely “red” and/or “blue”
• Large network in the Netherlands with contacts with talents, (credit) insurance agencies, banks, brokers, advisors, specialists, etc. 
• Strong Technical Accounting Knowledge (e.g. Dutch GAAP, area tax regulations, import levy). Ongoing awareness of changes external to the department and translates these into related changes, processes and practices
• Experience with trading or import/ export of commodities, foreign exchange risk management, liquidity forecasting, risk management, Credit Insurance etc, banking structures
• A high level of conceptual and strategic thinking. The ability to seek and analyse data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the overall strategy
