The organisation

Pryme is an innovative cleantech company focused on converting plastic waste into valuable products through chemical recycling on an industrial scale. The company brings scale to the market for chemical recycling based on an efficient pyrolysis technology. The market for advanced plastic recycling is developing quickly, driven by a clear and increasing need for circular solutions. The company has started up its industrial-scale pilot plant and is now transitioning into the scale-up phase. Pryme has the ambition to be a major player in the chemical recycling of plastics and secure a large share of what is expected to be a fast growing market. Pryme is a Dutch entity, based in the Netherlands and listed on the Oslo Euronext Growth.

The position

You are expected to make an Immediate contribution upon entry to the company as a key member of the Management Board. You interact with investors, lenders and the broad financial market. You work closely with the CEO, the rest of the Pryme leadership team and the Supervisory Board, to help deliver on the company's ambitions. The objective is to play a key role in growing significant value for shareholders, employees and society by capturing a major share of the developing chemical recycling market for plastics, thus contributing to a circular economy.

You will have dual focus on putting in place of a solid foundation of standards, processes, systems and controls including such matters as ERP, consolidation, reporting and tax functions, as well as on supporting growth including such matters as appropriate structuring of corporate entities, external financing and capital structure, evaluation of capital investment proposals and analysis of operational metrics to support performance improvement and decision making.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Developing and building a finance organisation suitable for supporting Pryme’s growth ambitions.
• Providing executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities and strategies.
• Managing the annual budget and business plan process.
• Contracting management, building a supply chain network.
• Investor relations, leading the company’s interactions with investors.

Candidate profile

• Extensive experience in a financial leadership role
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• Experience in raising capital and other funding activities
• Background publicly traded company with personal exposure to investors, analysts and financial markets
• Experience in an international multi-location manufacturing setting
