The position

As Corporate Business Controller you work for a dynamic and ambitious organization. You will report to the Head of Financial Planning & Reporting. As a senior finance business partner you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

You will advise and support the Finance Directors of the operating companies and the CCO on all finance related matters and support executive management in making the right decisions. You will help drive the business by steering on the appropriate KPI’s and assist local operations where necessary.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Understanding and analysing the actual and projected performance of the operating companies
• Challenge operating companies on budgets and business targets + challenge procedures
• Analyse monthly financial reporting of the operating companies to update the Executive team
• Interface with operating company management teams
• Interface between operating companies and Corporate Departments on areas like Tax, Treasury and Strategy, M&A/Divestments
• Advise and support the Finance Directors of the operating companies on all finance related matters
• Manage and participate in acquisition projects (e.g. due diligence)
• Implement and support Group initiatives
• Be recognized as strategic partner

Candidate profile

You are an experienced Corporate Business Controller with a powerful business partner attitude that possesses very good analytical and strong communication skills. You have the ability to create working relationships at all levels. You like to interact with senior management on tactical decision preparation. Above all, you want to make a real difference by being an independent, proactive and strong business partner for the local business units and the Executive team.

Which skills and experience do you bring?

• Advanced controlling experience (10 years) in preferably an international environment
• A Master in Finance, Business Economics or a similar degree
• Proven track record of analytical capabilities
• Proactive and independent
• Strong communication skills
• Ambitious and willing to travel up to 10-15% (in Europe)
• Hands-on mentality and flexibility
• Fluent in English
