Director Business Control

The position

For our client within our vertical TelCo-Tech, we are looking for a powerful and strong Director / Business Partner coming from a dynamic environment.

Area of focus:

• Lead a team of business controllers supporting the individual members of the company senior management team. The director will be the senior finance partner for the largest business unit of the company.
• Providing weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting with business performance insights that drive timely and effective commercial steering of the business. Become the trusted business advisor to the business leaders.
• Lead the business planning and forecasting processes based on models that capture the relevant business trends and drive the business discussions with the P&L owners. 
• Pro-actively drive scenarios analysis, perform financial modeling of business cases and provide financial oversight to the execution of new initiatives.
• Increase focus on channel profitability and sales effectiveness and provide input and influence on the structure of commercial contracts
• Reports into the CFO 

Profile

• At least 5+ years experience in a senior business control role within a fast pace environment
• Bachelor/Master’s Degree
• Strong business acumen and proven successful experience with key areas as: analysis of the competition, market share play, business modeling, go to market strategy.
• Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and successful balancing the finance vs. business priorities
• Strong personality, mature operating style, displaying confidence and comfortable taking an independent point of view. 
• Able to work under tight deadlines and stay organized and consistently deliver quality results.
