Position description:

Responsible for managing of a centralized controlling management organization throughout the Pan-European operations. The Director Controlling will operate in a multi-cultural industrial environment and has to create a smooth, reliable and a profitable operation. The candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance for an international Controlling team in 10 countries;
• Lead and manage a team of 2 controllers at head office and various local controllers at the sales and production entities;
• Manage the entire planning, forecasting and reporting process including preparation of the monthly management report;
• Manage and oversee the entire budgeting process;
• Develop, maintain and optimize controlling tools for cost accounting, sales controlling, production controlling, capex controlling, variance analysis and ad hoc analyses;
• Lead and manage the standardization process of the controlling tools in SAP;
• Act as a trusted business advisor for the management team and push this culture through the Controllers organization.

Requirements:

• Degree qualification preferred (HBO+);
• Minimum of 8 years of controlling and people management experience;
• High energy level;
• Business oriented;
• Experience in leading a strong controlling team preferred;
• Builds strong relationships within the organisation;
• Thinks strategically;
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• Trusted business adviser.

Salary conditions:

€120,000 – €140,000 OTE
