To further strengthen the transition towards a high technology driven, market led company, our client is in process to restructure its operations into separate division, that serve specific product market combinations. ECS (Emission Component Systems) is the largest of these newly formed divisions. Divisional management is fully bottom line responsible, and is in charge of all relevant business processes, from R&D to Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales & Marketing, Quality, Health & Safety, ICT as well as Finance and Control. Each of these functions will be represented in the Divisional Management Team. With a revenue base of 350 mln Euro represents approximately 50 % of the company’s revenue. The division is rationalising its global, very internationally spread, production capacity from its current 13 plants to 10 as a prelude to further expansion of its capacity in pacific region (China, India). ECS serves both the OEM and the aftermarket and delivers directly to its main clients as well as via distributors The position of Controller in the newly formed Divisional management team is vacant.

Function
The primary focus of the Controller will be to create a top notch planning & control and business reporting function, leading the finance organisation across the division. This would involve defining and implementing the P&C cycle, introduce relevant management reporting and providing financial analytical business support. On top of the routine reporting and periodical analysis, the controller will play a key role as member of the multidisciplinary bid teams for large new projects. The controller will be instrumental in pushing and facilitating the change to an increasingly integrated business.

Requirements
Qualifications · Degree qualified, plus an appropriate additional accountancy qualification (RC/RA). · Extensive divisional or business unit management experience as a senior finance leader in an international, B2B industrial project driven, geographically dispersed manufacturing company. · Technically excellent in financial control and (management) reporting, sound in tax and treasury (working capital management) and risk management. Familiar with relevant international accounting standards.
