The position

Are you an experienced Finance Director/Manager, ready to take upon a new challenge with even more responsibility as registered director in the Chamber of Commerce? A fundamental position as co-director of the Managing Director and part of the management team at TK Home Solutions, offering premium and innovative products worldwide, responsible for strategic and operational financial, purchase & supply side and human resources decisions.

Tasks & responsibilities

As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for all financial matters within the board. You manage responsibilities related, but not limited, to the areas of Controlling, Accounting, and Reporting (CAR). As part of the Management Team, you have 5 direct reports including CAR and the heads of Purchasing & Supply Side Management and Human Resources Management. Further, you’ll fulfill the following tasks and responsibilities:

• You monitor financial operations: developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• You advise and support financial management while considering TK Home Solutions’ overarching interests (worldwide)
• You draw up financial planning, budgets, investment requests and reports
• You map out (financial) risks and scenarios
• You draw up internal and external reports about the (financial) situation of the organization: you provide financial reporting to senior management and/or shareholders and other important stakeholders such as banks, accountancy firms, investors, and the tax authorities
• You make strategic and operational decisions based on financial reports and developments
• You map, analyze, and manage the cash flows in the organization
• You examine business practices against corporate principles and ensure compliance
• You advise on corrective measure to be taken and create support, motivating points of view and substantiating proposals

Candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate who has already earned credits in leading financial departments at internationally oriented matrix organizations. You’re an enthusing and connecting partner for all stakeholders, both internally and externally. Likewise, you have a supportive leadership style, possess excellent social communications skills, and are eager to learn. You have excellently developed business acumen and a result-driven personality. In brief, as Finance Director, you are strategically strong, have a practical approach and extensive experience as a team player and sparring partner. Further, you bring:

• At least a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in the financial direction
• At least 5-7 years of working experience in a Financial Management/Director role in a technical production service environment (e.g., automotive, construction or engineering)
• Experience working under “horizontal supervision”; know what it takes to be and remain fully in control; an appropriate eye for detail without losing sight of the 'big' picture
• Knowledge of the work domains Purchasing & Supply Side Management and HRM
• Experience with the lean six sigma dynamics (pro-active ownership, tenacity and insight)
• Experience with NAVISION and SAP is considered desirable
• Excellent command of the English language and willingness to learn Dutch
