Finance Director

Position description:

The Finance Director reports to the CEO and is part of the executive team heading the organization. The executive team consists of 10 people and will be complemented with a Finance Director. The Finance Team consists of 7 employees of which two Finance Managers located in different countries in Western Europe. In addition, four employees are responsible for the administrative organisation and internal control, where one is responsible for payrolling.

The Finance Director will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, control and analysis for the organization internationally and will be charged with the development and execution of the business strategy in conjunction with the anticipated growth.

The requirements are:

* HBO/WO education in finance, economics preferably combined with RC/RA certificate;
* 10+ years finance (administration) and accounting experience in an international environment;
* Deep understanding and experience with rapid growth business transition; with clear emphasis on “world class operational” performance expectations and deliverables;
* Logistics background is preferable; experience with chemical warehousing is a plus;
* Knowledge and experience with financial- and business planning;
* Knowledge of insurances;
* Professional legal reporting based on Sarbanes-Oxley is preferable;
* Thorough knowledge/experience of finance and control, as well as Dutch, Belgium and international accounting principles (IFRS);
* Proven track record of controlling and improving companies’ Working Capital and Cash Flow;
* High degree of proficiency with process improvement methodologies and quality initiatives;
* Ability to work/communicate across all functions and with other senior executives & managers as well as with other departments;
* Excellent organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to work in a competitive environment;
* Strong Leadership skills;
* Hands-on;
* Fluent in English and Dutch (oral and written).

Remuneration:

€ 100.000 - € 120.000 base salary
On target bonus
