The position

Adapteo Benelux is looking to expand their senior management team with a hands-on, entrepreneurial and strategically strong Finance Director. With a strong and clear growth ambition, the future Finance Director will play a crucial role driving financial excellence and strategic support across the organisation.

Tasks & responsibilities

This position requires a visionary leader who can navigate complex financial landscapes while fostering collaboration and growth within the finance team.

• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial support to the BU Managing Director and act as a business partner within the entire BU.
• Financial Management: Oversee all financial activities and operations within the BU, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and local market conditions.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial targets.
• Strategy Development: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Planning and Forecasting: Lead the BU's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Analysis and Insights: Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Reporting: Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and human resources departments to optimise financial performance and achieve business objectives.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop finance teams within the BU, fostering professional growth and development.

Candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - (Masters degree is preferred)
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years in finance and accounting roles, including financial management, reporting, and compliance.
• Experience in a country or regional leadership role is preferred - ideally within a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinker, diplomatic, collaborative, and adaptable.
• Results-driven, compliance-focused, team player, and committed to continuous improvement.
