Finance Director Netherlands

The organisation

Our client is one of the world’s leading foodservices companies. In the Netherlands the company is providing services at over 900 locations with more than 5000 employees. Currently our client is looking for a Finance Director Netherlands. 

The position

The FD will be part of the Leadership team and responsible for the Financial Management of the company. 

Tasks & responsibilities

The overall goal of the position is to develop and implement a finance strategy which will improve the market position, realize growth and increase sales and profit. The FD will manage around 25 people in the Finance team. The aim is to transform the team to a motivated and self-starting team that strives to provide the highest level of service to the business.

Candidate profile

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in an end responsible/business oriented finance role; experience in a services industry and/or business with high volumes and lower margins is a plus;
• Completed Master’s degree in Economics/Business Administration or related education and/or post qualification (RA/RC/CPA/ACCA/MBA);
• Experience with Dutch GAAP and IFRS;
• Successful track record in change and improvement processes;
• Extensive and demonstrable successful people management experience;
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and oral.
