The organisation
The company is part of a large industrial US corporation with operations in over 30 countries worldwide. The Headquarters are located in the Netherlands and employs approximately 170 people. The company provides high pressure hydraulic tools and systems for industrial applications all over the world. With it's worldwide distribution network and sales offices the company is able to meet customer demand.
The position
The Finance Manager EMEA will be in charge of all aspects of financial reporting, control and analysis for the EMEA business; he/she will support the EMEA region in an efficient manner in its daily business and business development by providing high quality reporting and financial analysis. He or she ensures the compliance with the applicable accounting standards according to US GAAP and SOX in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting and payroll, credit and cash collection. He/she will be responsible for managing dedicated finance resources within the EMEA organisation and for the development of a risk management process. Finally, he/she will be involved in future acquisitions including due diligence and integration activities. The EMEA Finance Team consists of a Shared Service Center, Payrolling and a Controlling Team. This results in 7 direct reports and a finance organisation of 16 FTE.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the EMEA Financial Shared Service Center for preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns and other statutory filing requirements for all relevant legal entities
- Responsible for managing dedicated finance resources within the EMEA organization
- Development of risk management process in close cooperation with the Finance team
- Ensure compliance in accounting standards according to US GAAP and SOX
- Assessment and planning for the development of the finance organization to align with business strategy and growth in a cost effective way
- Identify/initiate/drive cost reduction projects to improve the financial performance of the business
- Close collaboration with internal customers of all levels within the organisation
- Involvement with future acquisitions including due diligence and integration activities
Requirements
- HBO/WO education in finance, economics preferably combined with RA certificate
- 5 years experience in accountancy
- 5 years successful financial experience in an international organisation
- Successful background in Industrial organisations, preferably US companies
- Advanced system and analytical skills [Excel/Hyperion]
- Successful track record working with ERP systems (preferably Oracle or SAP)
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of additional languages preferred
- Willingness to travel - indication 20%
Remuneration package
€ 105.000 - € 115.000. Excellent secondary emulations
