In Europe direct sales are approaching € 100 million, increasing annually at 25% in the major markets where the company has a direct sales operation. The company has a clear focus to bring innovation to the market to help patients who suffer from a variety of pelvic pathologies.
De functie
The company is actively looking for a talented and experienced candidate for the position of Finance & Operations Director Europe, to be based in the European Headquarters and reports to the General Manager Europe. The objective of the Director is to control all accounting functions (in compliance with US GAAP), working capital control, statutory compliance, tax efficiency and compliance. Control of customer orders, scheduling, contracts, field inventory control, timely status updates and continual communications with both internal organizations within the company and back to the customers. This is crucial to assure ongoing longevity and growth occurs with assigned accounts. Control on all service related issues for the capital equipment business; identify best centralized service structure for the European Countries.
De eisen
- BS/MBA or equivalent, in Finance or Operations
- 10+ years accounting and operations experience in a multinational environment (US company)
- Deep understanding and experience with rapid growth business transition; with clear emphasis on “world class” Performance expectations and deliverables
- Demonstrated success leading teams to improve company image through customer interaction
- Solid understanding of International Tax Legislation and Transfer Pricing methodologies
- Proven track record of controlling and improving companies’ Working Capital
- Strong knowledge of IT Systems & Tools (JDE preferred)
- Strong Leadership skills
- High degree of proficiency with process improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
- Ability to work across all functions and with other senior executives & managers as well as with other departments
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Thorough knowledge of medical device standards and regulatory needs
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Well versed in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English (oral and written), and at least one other European language

€ 200.000 OTE plus
