Head of Controlling

The organisation

Our client is a project-based manufacturing company delivering high-quality applications to various industries. It's an innovative company, constantly trying to develop more sophisticated products for their customers.

We are looking for a Head of Controlling reporting to the CFO.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Full responsibilities for all controlling and financial planning & analysis activities
• Correct and in-time reporting of monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts
• Budgeting, Forecasting and the financials of the 5-years planning
• Forecast accuracy on a monthly basis
• Project controlling (costs, cash, forecast etc.)
• Deep analysis of the monthly results (P&L, cash, working capital etc.), MIS and KPI’s, discussing it with the responsible managers and initiating corrective actions
• Works closely with the Shareholders’ Controlling and FP&A team 

Candidate profile

• 5 to 10 years (leading) controlling experience at an international manufacturing company
• Experience in engineering and/or manufacturing-to-order companies and/or long term project execution
• Chartered Management Accountant (Betriebswirtschaft mit Spezialisierung In Controlling) or RC
• Fluent in English and German
• Somebody who seeks the contact with the business, result-driven and a strong communicator
