The Bosal Group is a Dutch registered company with headquarters in Lummen, Belgium. The group employs 5.500 people working in 35 plants and 18 distribution centres across the world. The annual turnover in 2010 was in excess of € 725 million. Bosal is a leading manufacturer of exhaust systems, catalytic converters, towbars systems, etc.

The Head of Global Audit is a significant global role which reports administratively to the Chief Financial Officer. The team of two professionals is based in Lummen, extensively travelling will be required. The audit plan includes both financial and operations audits with a focus on assuring compliance with the Company’s internal accounting controls, with SOX light and on operational matters including business process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Development of an annual global Audit Plan 
• Leading, developing and managing a lean and committed team of professionals 
• Carry out an independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the company’s financial, physical and information resources are managed
• Being able to assist hands-on in developing and implementing processes, policies, procedures across the group 
• Add value by acting as a facilitator in business risk management

Requirements 

• Higher level education RA/ CPA
• Knowledge of SAP
• Self-motivated
• Hands-on
• Team-builder 
• High energy
