Restructuring Bankers and Advisors

For a number of top level employers in the banking and financial services sector we are looking for strong candidates with a solid background in Restructuring. Focus is upon the handling of problem loans and endeavouring to reduce the exposure to risk and bad debt. Employers we are recruiting for range from international players in the banking sector to boutique advisors working on restructuring cases.

Position

Main activities are the investigation, restructuring and turnaround of underperforming and financially distressed businesses. Aim is to maximise return to lenders and to support company management in regaining control of their business. Suitable candidates can have a background in restructuring, risk management, leveraged/acquisition finance or M&A, either within a bank or an advisory firm.

Main tasks & responsibilities

• Closely monitor and assess problem accounts
• Perform financial and legal due diligence
• Financial modelling and cash flow analysis
• Analysis of credit components, identification of key risks and formulation of solutions
• Legal analysis and handling of lending documentation
• Participate in various meetings and negotiations on restructuring

Profile

• Experience in aforementioned tasks and responsibilities
• Master degree in Finance or Legal
• 4 to 10 years relevant working experience
• Flexibility and ability to perform under stress
• Fluency in English (other foreign languages are appreciated)
