Tasks & responsibilities

As a Senior Audit Manager at Robeco, you are responsible for planning, executing, and reporting operational audit engagements and project reviews. By doing so, you are fundamental to Robeco’s long-term success. You are responsible for controlling the organization, processes, and credibility of internal reports. You perform your tasks in an independent and objective way. You work both individually as in a team, however, everyone is responsible for his/her own audit.

Being a Senior Audit Manager at Robeco means fulfilling an audit position in a complex, collaborative, and dynamic environment. The audit team consists of 8 audit professionals with different background in operational, financial and/or IT audit. You report directly to the Executive Management. In addition, you remain up-to-date, and in dialogue with relevant stakeholders.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a responsible, proactive person. As Senior Audit Manager, you have the ability to think critically, and you possess strong analytical skills. This in combination with your communication skills enables you to make complex topics understandable to relevant contacts. Furthermore, you:

• Hold an academic degree in Accounting or Economics, preferably supplemented with a relevant audit qualification (e.g., CPA (RA) or CIA);
• Have a proven track record of at least 6 years in managing and executing financial and operational audits in a complex environment;
• Have affinity with, and preferably experience in, asset management or the financial services industry;
• Are proficient in the English language, both verbally and in writing;
• Are willing to travel (occasionally).
