Senior Director Controlling

The organization 

For one of our clients, a substantial multinational with more than 35.000 employees, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Director Controlling. The office in the Netherlands is of great importance to the international group and is characterized by the dynamic atmosphere and the young and international team. The organization is a leading multinational in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The position

High impact financial position in a trendsetting market leader. The Senior Director Controlling heads up the Technology Division control team, and acts as the financial sparring partner for the Technology and R&D Division Executives. As the organization thrives due to the focus on technology and R&D this is an essential division for the group.

Candidate profile

• Masters in Finance, Business Administration or other relevant field and preferably additional finance designation, such as Chartered Controller or Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience of which at least 5 years gained in an international environment at multinational (ideally (US) stock listed) corporations.
• Relevant experience in working in a complex technology-driven, (development) project-based environment.
• Good relationship builder internally as well as outside the organization. Someone who is able to  influence without power.
• Dynamic and flexible; functions well in fast-paced and fast-changing environments. Keeps all balls in the air without losing eye for detail.
