Senior Treasury Manager (build-up situation)

The organisation

Our client is a multi-billion, low margin services company with an international presence. Management is both Anglo-Saxon and Continental European. As most successful part of an international group, current momentum is used to establish an upgrade resulting in a stronger HQ with a centralized treasury function. The company culture can be described with key words like down-to-earth, multi-cultural and result oriented.

The position

Our client is embedded in a larger organisation and will act increasingly independent. Part of this process is the set-up of a HQ treasury. The treasury consultants will present their roadmap document at the end of January and the senior treasury manager will take over and make it happen. Without being comprehensive, this is about connecting to international colleagues and external treasury providers, make a plan and act. Cash will be first priority but of course risk and management of the balance sheet can not wait. The infrastructure will be build as the business continues. The treasury manager will report to the CFO and functionally lead the local treasury staff from the small HQ.

Candidate profile

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience in as many aspects of corporate treasury, both from an operational as well as a strategic perspective. Without project management skills you cannot handle this position well and as you step into a new role, you will have to be able to inform and convince your colleagues your changes are the way to go. The core business of our client is very hands-on, there are multiple nationalities in the HQ. One can notice this in the company culture and this should match your personality.

The offer
