Treasury and Corporate Finance Manager (Part-time)

The organisation

Our client is an Amsterdam based funding entity owned by a limited number of international investors. The board is also Netherlands based and consists of representatives of the biggest investors. The organisation is very small, in a build-up phase and at the heart of a complex international network. The activities are in the far east. Recently a multi-billion bond was successfully issued.

The position

The manager is responsible for raising the level and running of the treasury operations. He quickly builds relations with a small group of international investors from different parts of the world, with operating companies and global (financial) services providers. He creates an infrastructure in which he has a quick overview of funding needs by modelling all money flows. He delivers internal management and regulatory reporting according to various accounting standards. He manages funds and does proper risk management. His last prominent task is the operational cash & payment management.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate for this position has a solid track record in corporate treasury. Having worked in a small sized entity would be an asset. He is willing to cover both strategic and very operational tasks, communicate at board and executional level. Cultural sensitivity for this position is key, investors and service providers are from various parts of Asia and the US. His excel skills are at a high level in order to create insight in complex global money flows.

This is a part-time position, about three days a week. Based upon this, a candidate who is in the final stages of his career might be a good match. Alternatively a candidate who can combine this position with consultancy, teaching or other projects might be suitable.

The offer

The expected maximum base salary for this position is €100.000 it would be a full time position. For candidates that qualify and are interested, a more extensive job description is available.
