Our client is a scale-up, active in the leisure industry, and has its HQ in the Netherlands. With their global presence and IT expertise, they are growing exponentially and in need to professionalise their financial department. The maturity and size of the team allows them to enter a transition from generalists to specialists. The founder is very prominent and talented, you will work closely with him.

The position

Treasury Manager, in Rotterdam, for a fultime job, with lots of cashmanagement experience, in a scale-up situation.

Tasks & responsibilities

Our client is a young, fast-growing organization headquartered in Rotterdam. Together with the CEO you will build a new treasury department, where your initiative & contribution is expected & valued. Working together with your colleagues from accounting, reporting and controlling, you will be responsible for creating and implementing procedures related to cash management, forecasting and corporate finance. You are in the lead of this team so you are expected to work beyond treasury. In due time this responsibility might further increase. As you will also be responsible for optimizing existing and implementing new IT systems, a strong affinity with treasury IT is required. Due to the strong continuous growth of the company, you will never have a dull moment and there are always new opportunities waiting for you to take responsibility for. Cash and being in control will be the first priority, but of course an infrastructure will be expanded as the business progresses.

Candidate profile

In this scale-up environment your personality is essential. You show ownership, love complexity and are constantly looking how to bring the company as a whole to the next level. Furthermore you have:

• More than 7 years of relevant treasury experience;
• Considerable knowledge of Cash reporting;
• Strong affinity with (Treasury) IT;
• Expertise beyond treasury;
• A hands-on mentality;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Openness to change.

This could be a role for a young, dynamic talent at medior level, who will be challenged from the start. Also a more seasoned professional who has some CFO tasks in his track record might be the right one for this role.

The offer

The expected salary range for this position is €90.000-€120.000 base, related to the seniority of the candidate. For candidates who qualify and are interested, an extensive job description is available. Our client will not sponsor a work permit or a move to Rotterdam region.
