The position

The Global HR Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the human resources strategy on a global scale. Reporting to the CEO and supporting the Executive Leadership Team, this role focusses on developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with the company's overall business strategy. The Global HR Manager collaborates closely with regional HR managers to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and compliance across all regions.

Tasks & responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • In collaboration with, the GLT embrace the core values of the company (passion, innovation, commitment and collaboration, striving for global coherence across the regions) and develop a strong and positive culture.
  • Develop and execute global human resource strategies, policies, and practices in alignment with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead the annual HR budget process and provide leadership for global headcount forecasting to enhance workforce analysis and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations while safeguarding the organisation's reputation and business interests.
  • Oversee recruitment, retention strategies, and succession planning to optimise employee staffing and organisational performance globally.
  • Drive the performance management cycle, including performance development reviews, talent reviews, and compensation planning.
  • Design and implement innovative learning and development solutions for all employees worldwide.
  • Manage a competitive and engaging global compensation and benefits program, including executing a yearly inflation / merit cycle and a comprehensive benchmarking cycle.
  • Lead cross-functional, strategic, and global HR projects to drive organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and coaching

Candidate profile

  • 10+ years of regional/global experience in talent acquisition and development, employee benefits, and personnel planning in a multinational organisation
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Someone who derives energy from initiating and managing projects
  • Understanding of other cultures
  • Experience working in a forge
  • In-depth knowledge of global HR practices and principles
  • Personality: humble, driven, down to earth, sympathetic and being able to say no
  • Spanish speaking preferred

The offer

You will be working in a challenging role liaising and dealing with C-level professionals. As part of this role, travel will be involved. In this position, you will be able to make a real change. You are responsible for shifting the performance culture to that of a learning organisation. The organisation has very good secondary benefits, with a salary range of +- EURO 110.000,- excl holiday allowance, lease car, 27 holiday days and a 20% performance bonus.
