For one of our clients, an entrepreneurial, successful manufacturing company, we are currently searching for Head of HR. With its unique business proposition the company is very successful.

The position

  • Successful and highly advanced manufacturing environment with 350+ people
  • Responsible for strategic planning, leading, directing and managing all HR activities.
  • Significant workforce planning challenge
  • Member of extended Management Team.

Tasks & responsibilities

The Head of HR will act as strategic business partner to the management team, manage the HR team, professionalize and develop HRM within the organization, putting standards, processes and systems in place to keep up with the rapidly growing organization. Maintaining and further shaping the company culture of employee wellbeing as well as fostering a culture of high performance.

Candidate profile

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in HRM, Labor Psychology, Economics, Legal or any other relevant area.
  • At least 12 years of progressive work experience in a variety of roles in Human Resource Management (recruiting, organization development, C&B, HR Business Partnering, workforce planning, etc.), most preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR leadership role, preferably in Management Team with strong business orientation. Has led a HR department and at the same time willing to also do recruiting work.
  • Expertise in developing and professionalizing a HR organization.
  • Collate and maintain succession management and recruitment plans for the organization.
  • Experience working for technology-driven as well as project-oriented companies would be strongly desired.
  • Working in international business environments would be a big plus.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required, ideally also German.

  • Ambitious with potential to grow with the company.
  • Hands-on, flexible and entrepreneurial mentality. Able to think out-of-the box and disruptive.
  • Well-organized professional that brings in system, structure and efficiency in a changing environment and further improves procedures.
  • Ability to drive best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
