The position

The HR Director will report into the CEO and he/ she will be a (future) member of the Management team. As the HR Director you contribute successfully to business goals through an international HR team.

The HR Director will have to deal with an international network of senior business leaders. 

Tasks & responsibilities

Organizational Development 

  • Co-design of business strategy: development of a high performance culture
  • Co-own business fast paced transformation programs, taking responsibility for organizational design and development, people change, restructuring, etc. 
  • Develop and drive implementation of HR strategy 

HR Portfolio Management 

  • Serve as a single point of contact of HR for the business, aligning and being accountable for providing all HR activities that support the strategy of the business 
  • Drive implementation of corporate Policies, plans and tooling in order to guarantee a workforce that meets current and future requirements in terms of quality and quantity 
  • Collaborate closely with CEO in design and executing global and local programs/strategies/policies/procedures/; drive standardization and optimization. 
  • Co-own culture Agenda, boost inclusion and diversity 
  • Ensure consistency with policies, procedures and other standards 
  • Co-operate with working counsel (OR) on various issues

Talent Management 

  • Drive implementation of Succession planning, Talent Acquisition, Talent identification, Learning & Development, Annual Calibration process and Performance Management in the different countries. 

Mobilizing teams & individuals 

  • Create high performance and forward looking (management) teams 
  • Coach leadership on people management skills and responsibilities, challenge them and act as their sounding board

The HR Director has to have thorough understanding of:

Experience

  • Master’s Degree in for example Law, Economics, Business Administration or HR
  • 12-15 years of experience in a broad field of HRM subjects, with Talent Management and Organizational Development as a prerequisite. 
  • Experience outside HR (eg. Operations, sales, finance) is considered a plus
  • Having worked multiple years in a strategic, international HRM role within a complex multinational environment 
  • Willing to travel (25%) 
  • Fluency in English
