Job description HR Director Supply Chain Europe
HR business partner to the European Supply Chain for one of the categories, ensuring that all the necessary human resources are in place for the optimum running of these respective Supply Chains. Proactively support the HR agenda across Europe by working closely with defined central HR expertise- and local HR Management teams. Work with the Vice President HR European Supply Chain, contributing to overall strategy and delivery of relevant KPI’s.
This role is highly involved in driving change initiatives across Europe and increasing organisational effectiveness, supporting talent & leadership development for teams business partnered. Responsibilities include rolling out change management projects, developing leadership capability, developing talent throughout the organisation and supporting leaders in the operational HR issues.
Key result areas for the HR Director are to be found in:
HR support delivery to the supply chains involved.
Effectiveness through the rigour and challenge applied to all key business decisions that impact these supply chains.
Day to day implementation of the agreed ER strategy and tactics in support of the delivery of the overall Supply Chain strategy for the Benelux.
HR planning processes, including organizational design, succession planning and talent management.
To optimise all HR processes that impact the Supply Chains, with specific attention to management development and salary review.
Delivery of a co-ordinated approach (where appropriate), across the regional HR network, to leadership development, performance management and employee relations.
Effective change management capabilities developed throughout the concerned Supply Chain.
To manage and develop resources within the European and NL HR community. This will include the network of HR resources that reside within the Sourcing Units (i.e. manufacturing sites).
Effective administration for Benelux employees via the HR Shared Service organisation.
Effective organisational design for the evolving Supply Chain structures in this category and Benelux.
Oversight and agreement to Communications strategy (as it relates to ER) in Benelux.
Candidate Profile
Mature, successful senior Human Resources Business Partner, preferably with both HR Management in a large and complex international environment and consultancy in his/her background. The candidate has initiated and managed change within the context of a global organization. The HR Business Partner has an international mindset, believes in true accountability and is passionate about talent building.
Our client is interested in meeting qualified HR professionals. The position is based in Rotterdam and requires some international traveling (mainly daytrips)
