Functie-omschrijving

The HR Director reports to the Financial Director of the organisation.
The Human Resources Director is responsible for organizing the HR function as a real Business Partner that helps the achievement of the business strategy and by aligning the people resources in a motivating social environment. He/she is responsible for the implementation of the strategy and the amalgamation of different cultures.

The key responsibilities of the HR Director are:

• Planning and budgeting of HR staff and costs 
• Mananagement of people and resources 
• Delivering winning solutions 
• Supporting the business 
• Communication

Functie-eisen

The requirements are: 

• An university / Bachelor’s or MBA degree, preferably in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Management, Organizational Development or related area.
• Proven track record working in HR: 10 to 15 years experience in HR for international companies in bigger countries and 7-10 years experience in smaller countries mainly in HR development.
• Proven line management experience.
• Experience in negotiating with works councils and unions.
• General understanding of local labor laws (labor contracts and conditions, local termination legislation and practices and local company practices) and of local labor markets (compensation practices and benefit practices).
• Outstanding communication (oral and written), public speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, and Dutch, speaking as well as in writing; other languages are desirable. German language is a preferred.
