With a small HQ based in the North East of Belgium this privately-held company is the global market leader in producing and selling hoses to their OEM partners. It is a medium seized company with 900 employees and a turnover over of 60 mio Euro. Based on the key values of trust, agility and continuous learning the three business units operate in the US, Canada, Mexico, Slovakia and China. The strategy of the company is to grow organically, through product innovation and entry of new markets and geographic area’s. Although a medium seized company, it has the HR challenges of a corporate multinational.
Job Description
Reporting to and partnering with the CEO, the HR-Manager will set overall procedures for HR-policies (recruitment, retention, redundancies, development and training, remuneration, etc), and provide the Executive Committee members with the required support on HR-matters. He/she will be functionally responsible for the local HR Managers in the different plants.
Furthermore he/she will work closely with the CEO in developing the organization to support the business strategy.This new position is a great opportunity for someone who aspires an international career in an entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements
· A relevant university background
· Minimum 10 years experience in international H.R. Management
· Experience in low cost production environments
· Proven track record in developing organisations
· Experience in business process improvement (LEAN, six sigma etc)
· Good command of Dutch, English and Spanish is a plus
