Cloud Lead

The organisation

As the Cloud Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of four cloud engineers and building and maintaining a cloud native SaaS solution that ensures scalability and availability. Your role is critical to the success of the organization and requires a high level of expertise and responsibility.

The position

You'll develop the team that's responsible for the complete life cycle of the cloud native product. You'll work collaboratively with your colleagues to realize new features in a thorough and efficient manner. Your expertise in designing, configuring, building, testing, and maintaining cloud native solutions will be invaluable as you work to deliver high-quality components. You'll also work closely with operations to roll out new releases and analyze problems and challenges on operational systems to ensure optimal performance.

Tasks & responsibilities

Your duties will include overseeing the development of a future-proof platform that meets the needs of the business and customers. This involves managing security risks and handling ISO and other certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you'll oversee the international rollout of the product to ensure a seamless experience for users around the world.

Candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree and demonstrable senior Cloud Ops experience
• Experience developing cloud teams
• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services and possibly other cloud providers
• Strong experience in supporting and building cloud infrastructure, through infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform/Terragrunt
• Strong experience in managing containers like Docker/Kubernetes
• Strong experience in managing Linux based systems
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment tools and all the things they integrate with
• Experience in managing networking in the cloud
