As one of the biggest banks in the Netherlands, this bank has to stay up to date with the latest Financial Market Standards. For their Security Strategy & Architecture department, they need a dedicated Cloud Security Architect. The objective of this department is to ensure that business strategy and cybersecurity implementations are aligned on an ongoing basis. It is your job to lead the design, provide guidance and perform verification of architecture implementation on global programs. These programs focus on network security, access security and cloud security.

The position

And what will I be doing more specifically?

You’re going to develop security norms and controls for networks and public cloud network setups. But that’s not all, because formulating and testing hypotheses and drawing conclusions to determine appropriate security solutions are also important tasks. You specifically design key components that must be enforced and can be measured automatically.

They hire smart people like you for your potential. Staying curious and being able to keep learning is important, but you won’t be in IT if you didn’t know that already. Your years of experience in operational and development activities in network and network security are useful. You are fluent in technical and conceptual aspects of cybersecurity, specifically on networks, access controls and public cloud.
