You will be part of the MT and report to the FD. You will lead an IT organisation of 70+ employees.







Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuity and quality of ICT systems and infrastructure
• Leading managers (direct) and other ICT department staff (indirect)
• Ensuring adequate qualitative and quantitative staffing IT department
• Creating and maintaining a customer-focused ICT organization to the needs of the customer-centered and based on this in the most efficient and effective ICT services
• Provide ICT services to business units according to agreed SLA’s
  
  
   
• Formulating and keeping up-to-date an ICT vision, strategy and policy
• Establish and monitor the ICT department budget and control costs (Total Costs of Ownership) ICT systems
• In consultation with the Executive Board and the Information Managers and directors of the Business Units prioritizing ICT projects
• Implementing ICT projects according to schedule and budget
• Advise Business Units and the Executive Board on external ICT services providers
• Advise Chief Executive on its own management, and outsourcing of ICT activities
• Inform Business Units and Executive Board on relevant ICT development
• Contract negotiations with monitoring and quality of services from external suppliers

• University education
• Broad work experience in Retail industry
• Broad knowledge of ICT and project management
• Need to be able to translate Business Requirements into ICT solutions
• Highly developed leadership skills
• Strong personality who clearly supports the whole organization and ICT department
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Can clearly explain complex ICT issues for non-ICT professionals and explain and communicate with all levels inside and outside the organisation
• Oversees all ICT landscape and mutual dependencies and, if necessary has an eye for detail
