The position
We are searching for a Global IT Director for Strukton, who will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Strukton Group's ICT systems are compatible, secure, and cost-effective, contributing to the overall digital transformation of the organization.
Tasks & responsibilities
The Global IT Director leads a team of 45 IT managers and employees in the Netherlands and coordinates ICT activities in the Nordics and Italy, involving external companies as needed. The Director reports to the Chief Transition Officer and collaborates with the Board for decision-making. This role is based in the Netherlands, with responsibilities extending across Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Nordics.
Candidate profile
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. A master’s degree is a plus;
- at least five years of leadership experience in an IT role, with proven success in managing, coaching, and developing people and teams;
- in-depth technical knowledge and experience in software development, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, technological innovation, and data integration;
- strong leadership and coordination abilities to enhance ICT efficiency and effectiveness globally;
- experience in formulating international IT policies and achieving economies of scale;
- extensive experience in leading and implementing IT transformations and projects;
- a clear vision in the IT field combined with a pragmatic approach;
- excellent organizational skills, with a clear and structured method to enable teams to operate effectively;
- entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, an excellent collaborator, service- and solution-oriented, and capable of engaging and inspiring colleagues;
- strong stakeholder management and change management skills.

Procedure
