Your Duties:

• Manage the development department consisting of 30 people (development, support, documentation, training)
• Guide and coach the developers and team leaders to create solutions of technical excellence while working as efficient as possible
• Restructure the development department from a flat organization (team leaders have no disciplinary rights over the developers) to a classic two level hierarchical organization.
  Validate, improve and enforce the development process already established in the company
• Define and implement new features and releases of the product including architecture and implementation strategies

Your Qualifications:

• Excellent and proven track in a similar role
• Capable of working in a entrepreneurial environment (this means rolling up the sleeves and making things happen instead of expecting an assistant to help out)
• Sound understanding of technology in the eDM/BPM sector
• Preferably familiar with document automation/production environment
• Good social skills to motivate the people, to form a powerful development team and hold it together with a minimum of fluctuation
• Excellent technical and architectural skills on topics like Java, Eclipse, Web Services, communication protocols, databases, operating systems, source code management systems etc.
• Mature personality, capable of motivating him/her self
