The position

Our client, a FinTech business that recently received investment is looking for their first Head of Product to take over the Product Vision and Strategy to drive the business forward. They have their product market fit with over 400 paying customers and a target ICP of 4000 locally (mid-market b2b customers). They are looking for a hands-on Product Leader who has strong discovery skills and experience to help identify their customers’ pain points to drive the product forward.

On top of this, they’re also looking for someone to bring product maturity to the organisation. Specifically, how Product & engineering work together as well as instilling product processes and standards internally. Given the market they’re in, experience in financial compliance such as KYC or AML is key. Long term they will look to expand their product internationally and grow the product org further.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Craft a compelling product vision and strategy that resonates with the company’s overarching business objectives.
• Leverage Design Thinking methodologies and Product Discovery expertise to unearth innovative insights and approaches.
• Foster a collaborative development process by actively involving stakeholders, ensuring widespread buy-in for the vision and roadmap.
• Spearhead the daily management of the product/development team, establishing and maintaining OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) while providing coaching and guidance.

Candidate profile

• Possess robust analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Adept at inspiring others and rallying support behind your vision and approach, with a knack for fostering coordination.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a product/development team.
• Well-versed in product management methodologies and best practices, including agile development and design thinking principles.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) applications, preferably within a similar industry or market vertical.

The offer

€ 110.000 - €120.000 + benefits.
