IT Director

The organisation

For one of our clients, an entrepreneurial, successful, innovative, high tech manufacturing company, we are currently searching for Director IT.

The position

The Director IT will act as a business support to the management team, manage the IT team and maintain and develop the organization’s self-built software application which is of key importance of the future success of the company.

He/she plays an important leading role in managing the IT infrastructure, information systems, computer networks, technical automation and software development. 

Candidate profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Master’s will be a big plus.
• 12+ years of progressive work experience in a variety of roles in ICT Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have excellent Programs & Project management skills, including SCRUM methodology.
• Must have a strong affinity or experience with development of portals, automation and digitization of business and/or manufacturing processes.
• Able to link strategy, technology and theory with practical implementation and organization.
• Experience in managing multiple IT disciplines such as: Application Management (ERP, Planning, Material Management, MES, PLM, Supply Chain, WMS, Logistics), software development, technical support, systems architecture.
• Knowledge of functionality, operations and application of ICT infrastructure and architecture, communication standards and protocols, ITIL.
• Experience working in a family owned business and/or international business environments.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required, ideally also German.

• Well-organized professional that brings in system, structure and efficiency in a changing environment and further improves systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills and able to attract and develop IT talent.
