The position

As a Managed Firewall Service Leader you will be responsible for operational delivery and support of Palo Alto deployments. The position will require indepth working knowledge of supporting Palo Alto firewalls and related devices following industry standards and best practices. In this role you have to serve as a subject matter expert recommending standards, coordinating and troubleshooting issues with customers. You have to analyze network security requirements keeping up-to-date with evolving security threats and new technologies. Besides, the firewall domain must be managed and you must provide an escalation path for operations. You also have to monitor network performance troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Candidate profile

In your new role as Managed Network Security Leader it is important to have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks security technologies.

You have more than 5 years of experience working in complex corporate network environments and you also have experience with implementing and supporting firewall solutions in medium to large, complex organizations.

In addition, you also are very familiar with routing, switching and bridging in both LAN and WAN environments and you have experience in supporting hosting services. It is preferred to have Firewall and network management qualifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCSE or FNSE (or equivalent skill level).
