The position

EASA-Part IS Implementation Project! (Cyber)security, Compliancy, Law & Regulations.

KLM is looking for a project/program manager capable of setting up and leading the project for the implementation of the European legislation called EASA – Part IS, what brings together the Flight Safety and the Information Security in the Civil Aviation industry.

Tasks & responsibilities

In short the program needs to take care of:

• Integration of aviation safety risk management into the current ISMS (Information Security Management System) to ensure that cybersecurity risks which could potentially affect aviation safety are managed in all aviation domains.
• Enforcing collecting and reporting of information security incidents and vulnerabilities to authorities (within 72 hours).

Candidate profile

• You have graduated in the field of Engineering. You have a strong affinity for challenges, innovation and the digital domain. You demonstrate a strong ability for problem analysis, are results-oriented, innovative, proficient in project execution and excels at formulating proposals that facilitate decision-making.
• You have experience and knowledge of (Cyber)security, Compliancy, Law & Regulations (NIS, NIS2, etc.), frameworks (ISO27001, etc.), Technical Project Management tools and methodologies, like Agile/Scrum and knowledge about support processes, methods, and tools.
• Your fluent level of English allows you to carry out all the activities involved in the mission, including communication, produce documentation and presentations for our internal customer and management.
• Knowledge of Flight Safety (including EASA Law & Regulations) will help you better understand the mission.
• It’s an 80 – 100% full-time job and (partly) tele-working is possible

Skills overview:

• Project Management skills – good / excellent
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Information Security Management System (ISMS) – good
• Knowledge of Flight Safety, Safety Management System (SMS) – good
• Knowledge of Dutch legislation & compliancy: WBNI / NIS1, NIS2, etc. – Pre.

Additional job requirements:

• Postgraduate education (e.g. Master or PhD)
• Knowledge of change, program- and project management
• More than 10 years of work experience in different environments/(complex) projects
