Software Engineer

The organisation
 
The organization is specialized in development, manufacturing and worldwide distribution of special security to "high security" customers, such as government agency, VIP, embassies, military sites, prisons. The main product of the organization is a scan, a very innovative system to check the underside of vehicles to be inspected for the presence of explosives and / or weapons. 

The position

You will find a challenge in the development and application of UVIScan Under Vehicle Inspection software. Additionally, you will support the manufacturing of tailor made Purchase Orders. These may also include options like Automatic Number Plate Recognition and/or Driver Face Recognition. For larger projects, you will also support the manufacturing and configuration of Central Servers and/or Redundancy Servers. Last but not least you will support our various reputable international clients who have a Service Contract with us.

Candidate profile

To be successful as Software Engineer you have a completed study in Software Development You’ve got knowledge of test technologies like boundary testing and equivalence partitioning and knowledge of programming/scripting languages like C#, Java or Python. You are Familiar with the Agile Testing Quadrants and IP/Ethernet (subnet, network configuration, uni-/multicast) and you are abstract, analytical and creative thinker. Besides all this, there is experience required in:

• Secondary vocational education, software development degree;
• Preferably experience in “Machine Vision Software”;
• Preferably experience with software development for “Area Scan” technology;
• Preferably experience with (Basler) “Industrial Camera” technology;
