The position

In this role, you will manage the team's delivery agenda and drive the development of state-of-the-art innovations, processes, and programming solutions. As the Team Lead, you will report to the Director for Data Strategy and be a member of the Data Strategy team. The Data Strategy team's role is to capture the power of data and analytics. Your primary goal is to ensure the data is optimised and leveraged to its fullest potential and provide key insights into patient outcomes. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong track record in team management, with demonstrated experience in statistical programming, clinical trials, and project management, a deep understanding of data strategy and the ability to leverage data to drive business impact is crucial.

Candidate profile

What does Danone like you to bring:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Sciences or Bio-informatics);
• 5+ years of experience in statistical programming;
• Several years of experience as a Programming Manager or Lead Programmer in clinical studies;
• Knowledge of Biostatistics, Good Programming Practice, IT systems & databases;
• Understanding of the clinical trial process and data;
• Experience with programming languages such as SAS and R (tidyverse, shiny etc.);
• Passionate about programming and can demonstrate leadership in the development of general-purpose tools;
• Awareness of various tools, techniques, and hands-on knowledge of tools, and techniques (e.g., Python, Spark; data mining, predictive analytics, machine learning, etc.) is an advantage;
• Collaborative team spirit.
