Business Development Manager

Job description

The EMEA Business Development Manager Healthcare generates new EMEA Logistics and Distribution (EL&D) revenue. He/She acts as an independent & as an overlay sales consultant to support the organization’s account owners in qualifying opportunities, creating sales strategies, and drive new and additional revenues. He/she will prospect and develop new distribution business opportunities. He/She acts as a EL&D subject matter expert (SME) specific to warehousing, distribution, transportation and issues and opportunities. This position manages customer account contract negotiations and post-sales activities (e.g., changes in scope, customer service, implementation issues, etc.). The EMEA Business Development Manager reports to the EMEA Logistics Sales Team Manager or EMEA Logistics Director of Sales.

Job duties

• Prospects and Develops new EL&D Revenue
• Generates EL&D Revenue
• Educates the organization’s Sales Teams on EL&D Products and Services
• Establishes Account Team and Customer Relationships
• Manages EL&D Customer Proposals and Presentations
• Oversees EL&D Customer Account Negotiations and Implementation

Job requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree - Business Admin Preferred.
• Proven trackrecord in Logistics.
• Experience with the Healthcare Industry.
• Open to travel 20% of the time within Europe.
• Experience in conceptual selling.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Preferably good knowledge of the German language.
