As front runner in digitalisation and smart logistics, DP World Logistics Europe, focusses on innovative solutions to enhance optimisation and sustainability. In light of this ambition and strategy the company is looking for a Logistics Solutions Designer to help shape the European market.

The position

As Corridor Business Development Manager, you will be designing and developing supply chain solutions for existing and new customers in the European market. You will take the lead in market and client analysis and determine the strategy for the development of new propositions and corresponding products, which you will present to senior management.

Tasks & responsibilities

Logistics and shipping hold no secrets for you. You understand trade flows and supply chain characteristics. You have an affinity with commercial roles and enjoy nurturing clients. You master mapping client needs and can convert these into tailor made solutions for the client. Working together with an international and cross-functional team energises you. You are a passionate project manager, analytically strong, results oriented and an easy-going team player.

Cooperation with others

Being part of the Rotterdam team, you will also work closely with other business units within the DP World Group such as Digitalisation in Dubai, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. In addition, you will support the country teams and business units when it comes to technical execution of the products. You will report to the Product Development Director. This role requires occasional travel.Your profile

Candidate profile

• Bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in Logistics.
• Track record in project management.
• Network in the logistics sector.
• Experienced in designing supply chain solutions.
• Proactive, empathic, energetic, ambitious, analytically strong and committed.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German. Any other European language is a plus.
