The position

The Head of IBP is reporting to the European Supply Chain Director, the role of Head of IBP is to ensure the optimisation and adherence to the companies IBP process methodology and guidelines in order to turn consistent FG and S&A Demand figures into Production plans. At our client they expect everyone in the company to be hands on.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Ensuring demand for the region is in line with any direction given, with an 18m consolidated plan submitted per market
  • Ensuring sales plans are aligned regionally to the forecast and any allocations
  • Driving the allocation process to ensure decisions are made at Exec level and fed down to clusters
  • Ensuring best practice in planning is consistently demonstrated throughout the region
  • Ensuring the refurbishment planning process is complete, robust, followed and meets the needs of all stakeholders
  • Ensuring the planning team is resourced appropriately across the region
  • Ensure that SLOBs are managed effectively
  • Ensure that inventory reporting meets the needs of the region
  • Ensure that inventory is optimised and managed effectively throughout the region

Main responsibilities:

  • To manage the central planning team against their role, objectives and company goals
  • Recruiting, training, supporting and coaching Planning team within the Market
  • Leading the IBP meetings at regional and cluster level
  • Being the connection between cluster demand and IBP process
  • Identifying demand planning improvements and rolling out best practice across all clusters
  • Leading the IBP process providing analysis for decision making, objective and fact based challenges to all stakeholders, identifying risk & opportunities on the plan, facilitating the consensus with Marketing, Sales and Finance
  • Ensure region’s requirements are represented for shortages against demand
  • Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
  • Identify problems and find solutions

Candidate profile

The Head of IBP has a background in FMCG/retail and a proven track record in driving S&OP/IBP processes. You pay Attention to details without losing the bigger picture. You are able to delivery under pressure and to tight deadlines. Your communication is Excellent in mainly English and any other languages are considered a plus. It is important that you are self-motivated, independent and cant work in cross-functional teams.
