We are hiring for an internal role: Come and join our Kienbaum Office in Amsterdam! Kienbaum is one of Europe's leading HR consultancies & we are looking for an Associate Partner who is responsible for growing our Interim Executives Service here in Amsterdam.

Our office in Amsterdam is diverse and welcoming, offering a professional yet informal environment where our dedicated team supports and encourages each other's (business) development. Alongside our primary focus on Executive Search and Interim Executives we also provide Assessment, Leadership Development and Board Advisory services, catering to a wide range of business needs.
To strengthen our team, we are looking to add an Associate Partner who will drive and lead our Interim Executive business.
The position
As Associate Partner at Kienbaum Amsterdam, you will be responsible for shaping the service field “Interim Executives”, establishing the necessary structures, managing underlying processes, and cultivating a curated network of top-notch Interim Executives. You will be the driving force behind our Interim Executive Service and therein strategically position our firm as a leading provider in the field. You will play a pivotal role in addressing clients' business challenges and developing an innovative business model that is in line with Kienbaum Amsterdam’s overall business goals. With your entrepreneurial spirit, extensive network, and proven expertise in interim management, you will build and grow our new service branch.
Candidate profile
- At least 12 years of relevant experience with progressive career track.
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field. Preferably finalized post-graduate studies.
- Proven experience as an interim manager with a strong and successful commercial track or previously as a successful interim management recruitment consultant. Previous experience in a leadership role is advantageous.
- Technology savvy including digital and active on social media platforms like LinkedIn.
- Strong marketing and branding acumen to position and market our Interim Executive Service effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently to drive business growth.
- Extensive network within the Dutch business world at C-Level and tier-1 level.
- Familiarity with Dutch labor market legislation and dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English. Any other additional languages are welcome.
Personal skills:
- Possesses entrepreneurial Spirit. The role requires an individual who thrives on taking initiative and thinking outside the box.
- Unstoppable commercial drive. Continuously taking action to win business in own network while growing network and create opportunities for our Interim Executive network while adding high value new executives to the Network.
- Strong experience in marketing and branding. Ability to create a compelling brand identity to differentiate Kienbaum from competitors and highlight our value proposition.
- Strong acumen in business development. Previous experience in designing and implementing the business development models, identifying growth opportunities and forging strategic partnerships.
- Has shown a business-savvy approach and is able to strike a balance between strategic vision and hands-on management, ensuring both commercial success and outstanding client service in day-to-day operations.
- Collaborative mindset, strong willingness to work together with executive search and assessment services to thrive for delivering best solutions for our client – as Kienbaum team.
