The position:

The Business Unit Director will be reporting directly to the Sales Companies Director in Scandinavia and responsible for approx. 20 fte.

Key challenges:

  • Managing, motivating and inspiring people
  • Project sales/ selling
  • Fully responsible for the Budget: turnover, gross margin and costs, and for the total performance of our clients’ organisation and for ensuring that the organisation meets its stated sales and marketing objectives;
  • Coordination of sales, sales effectiveness and business opportunities to
  • ensure growth and customer loyalty on the local market;
  • Monitor competitors actions, technical and industry trends, and significant findings;
  • Establish and develop personal relationship with the most important customers;
  • Assure sales through various channels such as our prime target groups;
  • architects, specifiers and (ceiling) contractors;
  • The main focus of attention will be directed to the specifications in line with the strategic marketing approach from HQ;
  • Implementing and communication coherent sales and marketing strategies, policies and development plans. Ensure compliance with corporate design and brand strategy;
  • Providing leadership in order to further build and develop a dedicated sales and support team aimed at creating customer satisfaction as well as employee satisfaction. This includes convey information, communicate attitudes, manage visibly and consistently with respect for the individual employees and their diverse cultures in order to promote commitment, motivation, efficiency as well as optimal resource utilization and objective compliance;
  • Develop market shares and profit targets in accordance with agreed plans, budgets and forecasts;
  • Structuring of and participating in regular national meetings and participating in international meetings.

Requirements:

  • Formal higher education in a University or equivalent degree in commerce, business and administration or equivalent
  • A broad experience in marketing or sales position with activities directed to professionals within indoor design and good knowledge of commercial construction (business-to-business) incl. project-sales
  • Management experience within the sales/marketing field
  • Familiar with evaluations, analysing, drafting and implementing marketing plans.
  • Experience and understanding of all financial figures and business support-systems (CRM) within a company.
  • A track record in building and expanding a commercial network and holding the account management relationships.
  • Preferably experience in an international environment.
  • Technical understanding is a merit.
  • Language skills, written and spoken, in English is a must. Additional non-native language is a plus.

Salary:

€ 95.000 OTE, excellent secondary emulations.
