For one of our clients, a scale-up with promising technology in 3D printing, we are currently searching for a CEO. The company is owned by venture capitals and a strategic partner. This year our client has successfully commissioned its first machines, globally.

The position is located in the Benelux or in the US. Frequent travelling (50%) is required.

Role Description

The CEO will play an important role in guiding and managing the future of the company. Key will be to lead the company into the next phase of operational development and excellence, scaling up the Supply Chain, setting up customer service, and ultimately preparing the company for an exit. Product roadmap development, developing the organization from an R&D organization into a commercial profitable business and further professionalizing processes and teams will be key.

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree preferably in Engineering or related. MBA is ideal.
• Progressive career path of at least 10 years of international work experience in the high-tech industry manufacturing.  
• Successful track record in rapid scale up – from sale to scale.
• Experience with complex high value deals.
• Experience in realizing financing rounds and experience with PE/VC owned companies.
• Familiar with driving product development and market positioning as well as market penetration.
• Experience in Operations Management and Supply Chain would be helpful.
• Strong business and P&L track record.
• Fluency in English.

*Candidates without scale up experience in high tech manufacturing will NOT be considered.
