The organisation

This ambitious organisation is a leading player in the software market, offering both services and solutions. Activities have grown rapidly in recent years and the company works with a wide range of large enterprise customers across multiple industries, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by digitization, cloud computing and enterprise applications. A high growth business that is set to expand substantially over the coming years both in its core geographies and beyond.

The position

The CEO is responsible for (co-)developing a clear vision on the propositions and services of the organisation and creating a strong positioning in the market and ecosystem. The CEO is responsible for the full P&L and operational management of the organisation and ultimately for executing the growth agenda through buy & build strategies. To build strong customer relationships and multiply the recurring revenue stream, the CEO leads the development of products in combination with innovative services in strategically chosen markets. The CEO acts as a trusted partner for existing and new customers and supports the Sales team regarding the execution of the commercial strategy.

In addition to these main responsibilities the CEO plays an important role in managing a context of change, growth and on-going (cultural) integration. The focus is on creating a shared standard regarding operational excellence, sales, clear governance and further professionalization of the organisation. The CEO uses a balanced approach in reconciling this focus with cultural heritage of current and possibly future companies. The CEO enables adoption through actively engaging and connecting with internal stakeholders and makes sure one high performance culture is created.

The CEO reports to the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board consists of two independent directors as well as private equity representatives.

Candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of general management experience in leading a transition or strong growth of an organisation of comparable size with its own P&L and budget cycle for at least 200-500 FTE;
  • Rich experience in software/SaaS environment and professional services and/or business solutions;
  • Proven track record in managing international offices;
  • Experience with buy & build strategies and M&A;
  • Experience in working with Private Equity is a plus;
  • Academic background, strong analytical and strategic skills;
  • Professional proficiency in Netherlands, English and German.
