CEO (digital)

The organisation

The company operates several successful (international) B2C websites and maintains all its businesses with own teams (Marketing, Development, Finance, Support). Clients are attracted via SEO and SEA. CLV (customer lifetime value) is the leading indicator in the marketing strategy of the company regarding positioning of its products. The business model is highly scalable (high volumes, low margins).

The company currently employs 35 FTE and is based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

The position

The company is looking for a strong and ambitious CEO to facilitate growth (revenue and profitability) and to further professionalize the organization. The new CEO will be overall responsible for the strategy, development and operations and for value creation (long term profit and margin).

Candidate profile

• Extensive business and general management experience
• Management experience with optimizing business processes within a technical and complex environment
• International (commercial) experience, preferably in online marketing organizations
• Organizationally and operationally strong. Thinks in processes and structures
• Hands-on, high energy and healthy ambition level, ‘getting things done’ mentality
• Commercial drive: has a strong commercial impact and knows how to exploit
• Excellent ability to interpret, deal with and challenge numerical material
• Must possess a track record of increasing and sustaining growth and profitability even in challenging market conditions
• Affinity/ experience to work under private equity ownership
• Good oral and writing skills
• Representative and professional
• Entrepreneurial, with a broad business sense
• Education at university level (or equal level of performance). The nature of the study can be diverse (Business Administration, Econom(etr)ics, Technical)
• 40 - 45 years
• Strong international focus
• Dutch nationality
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Required availability: ASAP
• Residence: maximum of 1 hour driving from Nijmegen or willingness to move; the job also entails some international travelling

Terms & conditions

The salary indication for this position is € 150.000, plus bonus and participation possibilities.
